4 Days Nairobi - Mount Kenya - Samburu Game Reserve Kenya Safari

Nairobi safari tour visiting the Mount Kenya and the Samburu game reserve in 4 days, 3 nights tour. This is a Kenya safari tour with opportunities for viewing the snowcapped tropical mount Kenya and the semiarid vegetation and wildlife of the Samburu Game Reserve.

This Kenya safari journeys via central agricultural farmlands with subsistence, pineapple, coffee and tea plantations. The Mount Kenya, Kenya's highest snowcapped mountain will be seen together with the mountain vegetation and wildlife. Accommodation is offered in luxury lodges at the base of the Mount Kenya and at safari lodges or tented camps at the Samburu Game Reserve.

Day 1: Nairobi to Mount Kenya

Depart Nairobi for the Mount Kenya national park. The Kenya safari tour with stops is via the agricultural zones of central Kenya. We shall stop to see the Karatina market - The largest fresh food market in East Africa. Lunch at your Mount Kenya safari Lodge. Afternoon relaxation or wildlife viewing from the balconies of your safari lodge. Dinner and overnight at Serena Mountain lodge.

Day 2: Mount Kenya to Samburu

Proceed to the Samburu Game Reserve after breakfast. The drive through the highlands to the semi-arid frontier of Kenya is breath-taking. Arrive Samburu in time for lunch after check in. Relax in the afternoon before embarking on an evening game drive for a chance to see more animals. Dinner and overnight at your samburu safari lodge/ tented camp.
 

Day 3: Samburu Reserve

The whole day will be spent at the Samburu Game Reserve with unlimited game drives along the banks of the Ewaso nyiro River. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner as well as overnight at your Samburu lodge / tented camp.

Day 4: Samburu Reserve to Nairobi

Early Morning breakfast at your camp or Lodge check out and drive to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. Lunch at carnivore Carnivore restaurant http://www.tamarind.co.ke/tamarind-nairobi/  afterwards drop off at your respective hotel or Airport.
